Jack Daugherty is Of Counsel with the Firm practicing in the areas of toxic torts, products liability, personal injury, and labor and employment law.

Jack lives in southern Illinois where he was born and raised. Jack started his legal career with the Madison County State's Attorney office where he was a felony prosecutor. His experience in civil litigation is extensive and diverse. As an associate for the Callis firm in Granite City, Illinois, Jack handled FELA (railroad) claims as well as general personal injury litigation. Jack spent ten years working for the Simmons Firm in Alton, Illinois handling asbestos claims on behalf of clients with mesothelioma, benzene exposure claims, as well as pharmaceutical class actions. Jack is currently the owner and principal of the Law Office of Jack Daugherty, P.C., located in Alton, Illinois, where he practices in the area of civil litigation including civil rights, employment law, personal injury, and class action litigation. Jack is a former Teamster and brings a "plaintiff's perspective" to the Firm, which is helpful in developing defense strategies for our clients.

Jack has served as counsel for Venice Township, Illinois and for the Granite City Police Pension Board. He has served on the Board of Directors for the following not-for-profit organizations: CanSav, advocating for victims of industry-related cancers in Canada; the Metro St. Louis Velodrome Association, working to build a new cycling track in St. Louis; Companion's Company, supporting the family members with loved ones suffering from opioid addictions; and the Edwardsville Art Center.

Prior to entering the practice of law, Jack was a competitive cyclist and was invited to try out for the 1996 Olympic Games. Jack's interests include cycling, fishing, and spending time with his kids.
